TV Couples That Turned Into Real Couples

It must be extremely easy for actors to become couples two young, wealthy, talented and pretty people, who will understand each other’s craft, they can only be the perfect partner for each other. These famous TV couples could not keep the relationship simply on screen and started to pursue things in the real world, to varied degrees of success.

The first couple I will talk about is Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who played Jon Snow and Ygritte in Game of Thrones. They first met each other on set in Iceland, where sparks instantly began to fly. Kit is even quoted as saying “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it’s becomes very easy to fall in love.” Showing their on-screen chemistry to be extremely real, and though Rose would meet her demise in the show, the couple decided to tie the knot in 2018 and currently remain as the flag bearers for all TV couples.

The next couple could not find as much success as Kit and Rose, being Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, it is not actually even common knowledge that they dated for a while. Meeting on set of The Big Bang Theory, the two found their on-screen chemistry worked just as well in the real world for a while dating from 2007 to 2009. Though their TV counterparts found each other to be the one eventually getting married, Kaley and Johnny did not find as much success in the real world with 2009 being the end of the line for the pair. The couple do say that they have very much remained good friends, and they still remain as married co-stars on the show.

Finally, is a classic TV couple being that of Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart, who were played by Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher respectively. The couple met on The 70s Show at the young age of 14, with their couples first on-screen kiss actually being their first ever kiss. The couple have never really looked back from this early experience of love, with the couple marrying in 2014 and now have a young baby daughter. The pair are an example of the longevity that being a TV couple can bring, allowing for early building blocks of a stable relationship.

The pursuit of acting can be a lonely profession, there is not any time to really date, so by meeting the love of your life at work it can certainly make your whole life a lot easier.
